Butterfly Delight.

It's me back again with another project.   Thank you all for your visits and lovely comments on my last post, they are very much appreciated.

Tonight I would like to share another card which I have made for my friend Jane's Macmillan Nurses coffee morning this month.   For this card I have used  a beautiful butterfly stamp I have had in my stash for some time and is an Elusive Image stamp.   I have also used Imagination Craft's Starlight paints and  the border only from the Verona Tile stencil.

    
Lay the Verona Tile stencil onto a piece of white card, having masked off everything except the border.   Stipple the three Starlight paints through the design, using a large stencil brush.   Remove the stencil.   This will dry very quickly.

        
Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of dark green card, then matt this onto a 7" x 7" white base card.
Using the border stamp (which was given free with a craft magazine, sorry cannot remember which one lol) , stamp around the edge  of the base card, using a black ink pad.

  
Next stamp the large butterfly from the set onto some white card, using a Versamark  pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder.

   
Paint the butterfly with watered down Starlight paints, blending the red and gold colours into each other.

Cut out the butterfly, leaving a tiny white border around it.   Glue this onto the base card.   Place some silicone glue under the wings.

     
Stamp the sentiment in the top right corner of the frame using a black ink pad.   Well that's this card finished, hope you like it.
