Bearing Gifts Christmas Card.

Hi there  Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope your weekend has been good so far.    Not such a good day here today, sunshine and very heavy rain showers, the stream running past our home  has doubled in volume but thankfully we are not in danger of being flooded.   When we opened our curtains this morning there were five wild rabbits busily eating the grass on our lawn, well it could save us having to cut it lol!!    (we wish lol!)   One of the red squirrels that live on our property actually knocked on our lounge window this afternoon whilst I was having a cup of tea and when I checked, both of their nut feeders were empty!  intelligent or what !   (or maybe just coincidence lol!)     I then filled them up and within three minutes, it was feeding from the holder!  doesn't take long for them to smell the nuts lol!    Below is a photo of one of our nut boxes and our bird feeder,   thought you might like to see it.   We are so lucky to have these beautiful creatures in our garden.

I have a Christmas card to share with you tonight.   A very traditional design but with modern colours.     This was made for Imagination Craft's shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel at the beginning of this month and is a very quick, easy card to make.

Matt a smaller piece of dark green card onto the 7"x7" white base card, leaving a narrow border of the base card showing.

Take the patterned background card and lay the 'Bearing Gifts' stencil onto it, securing to the work surface with masking tape, so it doesn't move.

Mix some of the Gold Shine Sparkle Medium with the Bright Red & Forest Green, using a spatula.   Then spread the Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula.   Colour the stars and the gifts with the gold only.

Add an extra touch of the green on all the holly leaves.

Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

When dry, stamp the word 'Joy' on the right-hand side of the image, using a black ink pad.   Matt this onto the base card.

That's it finished, as I said a very quick card to make, especially if you have a lot of cards to make.   Thank you so much for visiting my blog.   Have a relaxing Sunday and I will be back soon with another project.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer xx.
