My Vintage Canvas.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend, the weather was just perfect and I do hope you managed to watch Sue from Imagination Craft's  on the Hochanda T.V. Channel, filmed live from the Alexandra Palace,  London  on Sunday.   The hour just seemed to fly by and most items sold out very quickly!   My canvas tonight was shown briefly, so I thought you may like to see how I made it.

( 1)   Stencil positioned on top of the canvas and white stencil medium spread over the design, using
the metal spatula.   Stencil removed and  image left to dry.

( 2)   A thin coat of white Gesso was painted over the canvas and stencil medium.   Then  coloured
parts of the background with 'Old paper' Distress ink.

( 3)   When dry, stencil put back in position and some 'Sand' Starlight Paint dabbed over the design
using a piece of cut 'n' dry foam.

( 4)   Colour some white card with dark brown Mixed Media Spray Ink and from this, die-cut seven
vines and the oval, using the Just Rite set of dies.   Add some 'white gold Starlight wax to them
         then, glue in position.

( 5)   From the rest of the brown coloured card, punch out one large and two small flowers.   Punch
out 3 tiny flowers from a piece of cream card.

( 6)   Glue the oval onto the canvas, highlighting the word 'family,'  then glue the flowers in place
gluing the tiny cream flowers to the centres of the brown flowers.   Add a tiny dot of gold
glitter glue to the centres of the cream flowers.

( 7)   Colour the corrugated paper  (taken from a packet of Cornish Wafer biscuits)  with the
distress inks,  'old paper' and 'walnut stain' then dab with some 'Sand' Starlight paint on the
raised parts, then glue this down the left edge of the canvas.

( 8)   Colour the perforated  page edge with distress inks and glue on top of the  corrugated paper.

( 9)   Add some distress ink around the canvas edges

(10)   Glue the wedding photo to the centre of the vines.

Well that's it finished.    Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog,  hope you have enjoyed your visit.    Have a great week my friends and I will be back again soon.  Take good care of yourselves and above all, be happy.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.
