Beautiful Ballerina Card.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope you have had a good start to the week.   The weather today has been quite warm and the sun did come out for a while.   I have been busy finishing off my samples for Sue & Harvey of Imagination Craft's.   They have another show coming up soon - yeah!  not long to wait.   It is always a great relief when my samples are in the post, then I can relax lol!

My card tonight was made for their show at the beginning of February this year and I have used their very pretty rice paper and Rusty Patina amongst other products for this card.

Matt a square of black shiny card onto the white 7"x7" base card, leaving a border of the white showing.   Matt a smaller  piece of pink card onto the black.

Take a smaller piece of white card and lay the retro squares stencil onto it and spread the Cafe Creme Rusty Patina over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Gently rub 0ver the Rusty Patina with the apple green and antique pink Starlight  waxes.   Wrap a pink ribbon down the left hand side, securing on the reverse.   Matt this onto the base card.   Glue a ribbon bow to the top left.

Die-cut a large scalloped oval from the black shiny card.   Matt onto the base card,  on the right hand side of the card.   Cut out a slightly smaller plain edged oval from pink card and matt onto the black oval.

Die-cut a smaller scalloped oval from white card.   Roughly cut out the ballerina from the rice paper and wet around the edges with a small paint brush and water.   Gently feather out the edges to fit the oval.   Glue this to the white oval, using Imagination's Magi-bond decoupage glue.

Colour the edges of the scallops with the pink and green waxes, then add a fine touch of the black wax on the edges of the scallops.   Glue this to the pink oval and rub a little Hickory smoke distress ink to the pink oval edges, between the scallops.

Make three roses from pink paper and glue to the ribbon.

Make one small rose from pink paper and glue this to the ballerina's hand.   Colour a piece of white card with the misty green Starlight paint and die-cut three medium and two small leaves from this card.   Glue one small leaf to the rose in her hand, then the others to the group of three roses.

Well that is this card finished.   Please pop back soon as I will be sharing some of my sneaky peeks for Imagination's next T.V. shows.    Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog, I really appreciate every visit and comment.    See you all soon.

                                                                    Love and rainbows,

                                                                     Hugs   Jennifer xx.
