Bearing Gifts, a 'Sneaky Peek.

Hi there, hope you've all had a good day, the weather here has been quite good I'm pleased to say, just an odd shower or two this morning, then it dried up.   Hubby and I were taken out to lunch today by a family relative we haven't see for some time.   So nice to see her and her daughter and out came the photo albums, so many memories to talk about and we had a lovely meal.      Had no meal to cook tonight for a change lol!

As promised here is the full card which has been made for Imagination Craft's next shows on the Hochanda T.V. channel on the 5th. & 6th. July 2016.     My samples hopefully should have reached Sue & Harvey today, ready for the show.  For this card I have used their beautiful new 'Bearing Gifts'  Christmas stencil, yes it's only Summer I hear you all say but us crafters like to get started early on our Christmas makes lol!

Using a ready creased ivory  card, fold it down the centre making a 7"x7" base card.   Using the small flourish stamp from the Cottage Border Decoupage Stamp Set, stamp it around the outside edges of the card, using a black ink pad.

Colour the card edges with the Victorian Velvet and Black Soot Distress inks, using a blending tool.   Onto this matt a smaller square of black satin card, leaving a half inch border of the base card showing.

Take a smaller square of white card approximately five and three quarter inches square and roughly brush the Cyclamen and Rich Gold Starlight paints across the card.   If you would like a more blended finish, you could spread the paints across the card using a brayer.

When this is dry, lay the 'Bearing Gifts' stencil on top and spread the Black Stars Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula.

Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

When dry, matt this image onto the base card, I find the Imagination Magi-bond glue works really well, making a good bond to the base card, double sided tape does lift up a little if you accidentally get some paint on the back of the card, not sure why but the glue works best I find.

Enjoy the rest of your evening and I will be back again with another creation tomorrow.  I do hope you will pop back and thanks ever so much for stopping by my blog, I really appreciate your visits and the lovely comments you leave me.   See you  tomorrow.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                       Happy Crafting,     Hugs   Jennifer xx

Multi-Coloured Gerberas.

Hi there Folks,

Hope you all had a great weekend whatever you did.  We had a quiet one and I managed to fit in some crafting time, in between the meals and housework.   I am busy designing more samples for Imagination Craft's next shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel.   The dates (unless they change at the last minute lol!) are Monday 5th, July 2016 at 8pm. and again on Tuesday 6th, July 2016 at 8pm.   Make a note in your diaries ladies, there will be some fabulous new products, beautiful new Art stamps and of course more exciting demonstrations.      My card for tonight was shown on Imagination's last T.V. show on 20th. June 2016.   This stamp was designed by Sue's daughter many years ago and I absolutely loved it then and I still do, all these years later.   Since I last worked with this stamp, Imagination have brought out the fabulous Mixed Media Spray inks, so giving me more inspiration.    OK  time to share my card with you.

Fold the ready creased  white card down the centre, making a 7"x7" card on which to work.    Using a piece of green card, using the TH 'crazy paving' die, die-cut the design from the green card.   Cut this out of the green card, leaving no straight edges and put this to one side for the moment.   Glue the large left-over piece of green card (after die-cutting the crazy paving) and glue to the base card, down the left hand side.

Glue and oblong of yellow card down the right-hand side and add a red triangular piece to the top left and bottom right corners, lining up the straight edges.

Glue the green crazy paving on top of the yellow oblong.   Die-cut another 'crazy paving' from some yellow card and glue on top of the  green  card at the  bottom left corner.

Take a piece of white card and spray with the Mixed Media Inks and when dry, stamp the Gerbera stamp on top, using a black ink pad.

Matt this onto some yellow and then black satin card, each time leaving a very tiny border showing.

Glue the main image to the centre of the base card.    Glue a topaz gemstone in the top left and bottom right corners.

Well that's all from me for the moment.   I will be sharing some 'sneaky peeks'  with you, which I have made for Imagination craft's next  T.V. shows on 5th. & 6th. July 2016.  very soon.   Until then, enjoy the rest of your week.   See you all soon.   Many thanks for stopping by my blog, I hope you have found some inspiration.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                     Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Rainbow Trellis Arch.

Hi there Everyone,

Hope you are all well and looking forward to a chilled out weekend.   I have been in my crafty space this afternoon, making samples for Imagination Craft's next shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel on the 5th. July 2016.    Today I received the new Christmas stamps for the show and they are fabulous!   Imagination have always had beautifully designed Christmas stamps but these, well lol!   they're in a different league !!!  you will just love them,  I know.   Must finish the project I'm busy doing now, then I can play with these gorgeous new stamps.   Anyone who knows me, knows I'm  really a stamp girl at heart lol!    Well, enough chat lol!  so onto tonight's card.   This was made for Imagination's latest show on the 20th. of June on Hochanda.

Matt a black satin square onto the centre of the white 7"x7" base card, leaving a half inch border of the white card showing.

Take a smaller square of white card and spread some  cheap shaving foam into a square/oblong  plastic  container, then spray the yellow, green, red and light purple Mixed Media Inks over the foam.

Lay the white square card on top of the foam for a second or two, then remove the it.  (The transfer of colour takes a very short period of time.)

Using a metal spatula, scrape off the excess shaving foam and dry off the card with a piece of kitchen paper.   Lay the trellis arch stencil onto  this coloured card and spread the sparkle mediums over the design.   The roses done with the Bright red Sparkle Medium.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Matt this onto the black satin card.

Paint some white card with the red Starlight paint and die-cut a rose from it, roll up the rose and glue.   Glue this rose to the top left corner.

That's my card finished.   Have a great weekend and I will be back soon.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                             Crafty Hugs    Jennifer xx.

From Little Acorns...........

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

I do hope you managed to watch Sue and Gwen from Imagination Crafts demonstrating, such great products and techniques.

Tonight I would like to share one of my cards which was shown  on the Hochanda T.V. Channel today.      I just adore this Art stamp, such a great design.    I just felt it should be framed like a painting.

Using an ivory 7"x7" base card, begin by stamping the dots from the 'poppies' stamp set,  in each corner, using a black ink pad.   This stamp set was designed by Lisa B. for Imagination Crafts.

Take a square of Imagination's black satin card  and lay it inside the X-Cut Embossing folder and emboss.

Stamp the beautiful oak tree in the centre of the square,  using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with white embossing powder.

Gently rub some Topaz Starlight paint around the embossing on the frame and around the edges of the stamped image, using a piece of cut ' n dry foam, or your finger.   Matt this onto the centre of the base card.

The card is now finished, this is really quite a quick, easy card to make and looks quite effective.   That's all from me for the time being, I will be back in a couple of days, with another creation.   In the meantime, I am making more samples for Imagination's next shows on Hochanda T.V. at the beginning of July.   I will of course as usual, show you some 'sneaky peeks.'   All I'm saying is    "Christmas." !!!!!!!     Catch you all soon.

                                                                      Love and rainbows,

                                                            Happy Crafting,   Hugs   Jennifer xx.

It's Your Birthday.....' a 'Sneaky Peek.'

Good evening All,

I know, two posts in one day I hear you say lol!   well the time for Imagination Craft's shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel is getting ever closer lol!!   Yeah!    tomorrow!!   not long to wait.   Hope you can tune in.   The first show is at 11am. then at 2pm. and again at 5pm.  so I thought I'd show you another card before the show tomorrow.

The sneaky peek I have for you tonight was made using a stencil, Sparkle Mediums and a tag die.   Working on a ready creased cream base card, matt a smaller square of purple paper onto it.   Take a slightly smaller piece  of white card and spray with the Light purple, Red,  Green & White Mixed Media Inks and leave to dry.

When dry lay the leaves stencil onto it and spread the turquoise Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula, then remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

The above is the stencil I have used.   I always try to think  'outside the box' so to speak, what else can I do with this stencil, how else can it be used.   Well I decided to use the individual leaves to make some flowers.   Hope you like it.

When the image is dry, matt this onto the purple paper.   Take more white card and spread some turquoise Sparkle Medium over the leaves design on the stencil and then remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Do the same with some Amethyst Sparkle Medium and when they are dry, cut out each leaf separately.   Make two large flowers, 3D ing the leaves in alternative colours, ie: one amethyst then one turquoise, then glue one to the top left and one to the bottom centre.

Trim some of the spare  leaves to make them smaller but still keeping the leaf shape and make a smaller flower in the same way.

Die-cut a tag from cream card using the Spellbinder's die and colour through the die, using the milled lavender distress ink.   Stamp the text onto the tag using the Stream Adirondak ink pad.   Fix the tag to the top right of the card, using sticky foam pads.

Glue the small  ( leaf)   flower to the bottom of the tag and glue a pearl in each flower centre and an oblong pearl on the tag.

Well that's this card finished,  thanks for taking the time to check out my blog, hope you have enjoyed your visit.    I will be back again in a few days.     Please don't forget to watch Sue from Imagination Crafts on Hochanda T.V. tomorrow.    See you all soon.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                               Crafty Hugs    Jennifer xx.

Flowers by the Barrow Load. Another 'Sneaky Peek.'

Hi there Everyone,

Happy Sunday, hope you're having a lovely weekend.   As the Imagination Craft's shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel gets nearer, I thought I would sneak in another 'Sneaky Peek'  for you.   Please don't forget to tune in on Monday 20th June, when Sue and Gwen will be showing you some great techniques.

My card today uses Imagination's black satin card, Sparkle Mediums and the flower barrow stencil.   Hope you like it.

Matt a smaller piece of red paper onto your 7"x7" cream base card.   Take a square of the black satin card and lay the wheelbarrow stencil onto it.   Spread the Sparkle Medium colours through the design, using the metal spatula.   I prefer to do each colour separately and wait until that is dry before doing the next colour.   I tend to mask off everything but the parts I am working on, with masking tape.   This does take a little time but I do think it is worth it in the end lol.   When the image is finished and dry, matt this onto the base card.

Apologies for the slightly blurred photograph, not sure what happened there lol!     Colour some white card with the  red Starlight paint and when dry, die-cut three different sized  roses using the Sizzix dies.    Colour some card with the Emerald Starlight paint and die-cut one large and three small leaves from it, again using the Sizzix dies.

Roll up the roses and glue in position on the wheelbarrow.   Glue the leaves to the roses using silicone glue to give some dimension to the card.

Glue some gems to the handle of the barrow.   Well that's another card finished.   I will be back again very soon.   In the meantime enjoy the rest of your weekend.

                                                                    Love and Rainbows,

                                                                    Big Hugs  Jennifer xx.

A Flower Shower a 'Snealy Peek.

Good evening All,

Hope you've had an enjoyable Saturday.   The weather here has been dry and sunny, such a difference from the dull grey skies we have been having.

My 'sneaky peek' tonight was made using Imagination Craft's beautiful floral umbrella stencil and some Sparkle Mediums.

Using a 7"x7" ready creased pearlised card as a base card, matt a piece of lavender paper onto it, leaving a border of the base card showing.

Take a smaller piece of blue card, cut smaller than the lavender and lay the stencil onto it and Spread the three colours of Sparkle Mediums through the design, using the metal spatula.  Remove stencil and leave image to dry.   Matt this onto the base card.

Take another piece of blue card and spread the same coloured Sparkle Mediums over the stencil again but this time, only the top of the umbrella.   Remove stencil and leave to dry.

Cut out and glue the top to the original image, using silicone glue, to raise up the top of the  umbrella, adding some dimension to your card.

Make some small flowers using lavender, gold, lilac and deep turquoise card and the Sizzix small flower dies.   Glue these under the umbrella.

Stanp 'Happy Anniversary' onto a piece of blue card, using the Stream Adirondak Ink pad.   Matt this onto a piece of lavender paper and glue to the bottom left of the card.

Well that's my 'sneaky peek' for tonight, please pop back again tomorrow when I will have another card to share with you all.   Have a relaxing, peaceful Sunday.   Catch you all tomorrow.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                 Big Hugs    Jennifer xx.

Starlight Owls, a 'Sneaky Peek.'

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Tonight I would like to share a 'sneaky peek' at one of the cards I have made for Imagination Craft's next One Day Special shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel, on June 20th. 2016.

I have used one of their lovely Art Stamps and of course some fabulous Starlight paints.

Fold the ready creased cream card down the centre crease line, making a 7"x7" base card on which to work.   Die-cut the Piestra Tile, using the Memory Box die, from black paper and cut it into four separate  pieces, then glue them to the card front.

Take a square of cream card and colour it with the three Starlight paints, using a brayer.   Mix until the colours are well blended together.   Leave to dry, which will not take long at all,  this paint dries quickly but does stay a little tacky for a while.

When dry, crumple up this card, then un-crumple.   Glue this on top of the tile pieces, using double sided sticky tape and Magi-bond glue, to hold well in position.

Stamp the owls onto a piece of cream card, using the black Versafine ink pad.   Trim around the edges, then matt onto a slightly larger piece of cream card, leaving a small cream border showing.   Matt this onto the card centre.

Stamp the word 'LOVE' to the top of the card and 'NATURE' to the bottom of the card, using the black ink pad.

All that remains to be done, is to die-cut three large and three small flowers, three cream and three black flower stamen, using the Marianne Design dies.

Colour one large and one small flower with the cyclamen, one each of the amethyst and one each of the gold, using the  Starlight paints.    Glue one large and one small of the same colour  together, then glue to the right of the owls.   Glue the stamen to the flower centres.

Card finished, please pop again tomorrow  as I will be showing another 'sneaky peek.'    Have a fabulous weekend and I'll catch you tomorrow.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                               Crafty Hugs,   Jennifer xx.
