Butterflies, butterflies Butterflies, a 'Sneaky Peek' for the Next Hochanda TV Show.

Hi there Peeps,

Well I'm back again with another 'Sneaky Peek' at a card I have made for Imagination Craft's next shows on Hochanda TV this coming weekend.   For this card I have used another one of Imagination's beautiful rice papers.   I do love working with these papers and they make a very quick card.   I have also used their new Media Ink Sprays and  I am loving working with these too,  such vibrant colours and they mix beautifully but be prepared to end up with very inky fingers lol!!! not to mention my craft light and anything near to hand !   I would advise putting your card in a cardboard box before spraying, unless you want a brightly coloured craft light ha ha ha!

Fold a ready creased white card down the centre crease line, making a 7"x7" base card on which to work.   For this card you will need two sheets of the same design of rice papers.   Keep the remaining rice paper that you don't use, for future projects, even smaller pieces can be used to decorate cards, glass bottles, journals etc.,    Decide which part of the sheet you want to use on your card front and cut it out.   Colour this with the different coloured Media Inks, then cut to size, leaving a quarter inch border of the white base card showing.

When dry, glue to the card front.   Cut out the word 'Butterflies'  leaving it just black and white.   Wet around the edges of the word with a paint brush and water, then gently pull away the rice paper, leaving a frayed edge around the word.    Glue this across the card front.

From the second sheet of rice paper, spray the large butterfly with the inks.   When the inks are dry, glue onto a piece of white card, using pva glue, then cut out the butterfly.

Glue this to the same image of the butterfly  on the base card, using silicone glue to lift the wings.

Cut out the black/white smaller butterfly and glue onto a piece of white card and when dry, cut out and glue to the card front, again using silicone glue to lift the wings.

Paint parts of the wings of the butterflies with some White Gold Starlight Paint.   Well that's it folks, hope you like it.   Those of you who know me, know that I am not in my comfort zone with bright colours lol !!   but
these Media Inks are definitely growing on me lol !   hope you like it.

I will be back again very soon with another 'Sneaky Peek,'  until then, take care and be happy.

                                                              Love and rainbows,

                                                               Hugs   Jennifer xx.
