Stargazer Lily, Another 'Sneaky Peek,' made for Imagination's Hochanda show.

Hello,  it's me back again with another 'sneaky peek,'  I've  made for Imagination Craft's  next shows on the Hochanda TV Channel, this weekend.     Hope you like it.    I have used one of Imagination's new Art stamps.   I just love the clean, simplicity of this stamp, such a beautiful design.   This would make a great sympathy card or anniversary card, I think.   It is a very quick  card to make, should you need a card in a hurry.

Fold the ready creased white card in half down the crease line, making a 7"x7" base card on which to work.  Take another piece of white card and stamp the lily image  onto it twice,  using the metallic green pigment pad, then heat emboss with some detail clear embossing powder.

Matt one of these images on to a piece of white card, leaving a quarter inch border of white showing.   Next matt this onto a larger piece of teal card.   Glue this to the centre of the white base card.

Cut out the lily only from the second image and 3D onto the original image, using silicone glue.

Glue a piece of diamond wrap to the left of the image and another to the right of the image.

Die-cut four corners from teal card, using the Tattered Lace corner die.   Glue one in each corner of the base card.

Well that's it for tonight my friends, I'll be back again with another card very soon.   Hope you have enjoyed your visit and hopefully you have found some inspiration to have a go at making this card.   A quick, easy and elegant card for that special occasion .   See you soon.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                   Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Butterflies, butterflies Butterflies, a 'Sneaky Peek' for the Next Hochanda TV Show.

Hi there Peeps,

Well I'm back again with another 'Sneaky Peek' at a card I have made for Imagination Craft's next shows on Hochanda TV this coming weekend.   For this card I have used another one of Imagination's beautiful rice papers.   I do love working with these papers and they make a very quick card.   I have also used their new Media Ink Sprays and  I am loving working with these too,  such vibrant colours and they mix beautifully but be prepared to end up with very inky fingers lol!!! not to mention my craft light and anything near to hand !   I would advise putting your card in a cardboard box before spraying, unless you want a brightly coloured craft light ha ha ha!

Fold a ready creased white card down the centre crease line, making a 7"x7" base card on which to work.   For this card you will need two sheets of the same design of rice papers.   Keep the remaining rice paper that you don't use, for future projects, even smaller pieces can be used to decorate cards, glass bottles, journals etc.,    Decide which part of the sheet you want to use on your card front and cut it out.   Colour this with the different coloured Media Inks, then cut to size, leaving a quarter inch border of the white base card showing.

When dry, glue to the card front.   Cut out the word 'Butterflies'  leaving it just black and white.   Wet around the edges of the word with a paint brush and water, then gently pull away the rice paper, leaving a frayed edge around the word.    Glue this across the card front.

From the second sheet of rice paper, spray the large butterfly with the inks.   When the inks are dry, glue onto a piece of white card, using pva glue, then cut out the butterfly.

Glue this to the same image of the butterfly  on the base card, using silicone glue to lift the wings.

Cut out the black/white smaller butterfly and glue onto a piece of white card and when dry, cut out and glue to the card front, again using silicone glue to lift the wings.

Paint parts of the wings of the butterflies with some White Gold Starlight Paint.   Well that's it folks, hope you like it.   Those of you who know me, know that I am not in my comfort zone with bright colours lol !!   but
these Media Inks are definitely growing on me lol !   hope you like it.

I will be back again very soon with another 'Sneaky Peek,'  until then, take care and be happy.

                                                              Love and rainbows,

                                                               Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Holly Hocks. 'Sneaky Peek.'

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

A very mixed day weatherwise lol!   rain, wind, snow and a little sunshine, quite a mixture lol!    Tonight I would like to share my first 'Sneaky Peek' at a card I have made for Imagination  Craft's next shows on the Hochanda TV Channel this coming weekend.   I do hope you can tune in, I'm not sure of the exact times yet but I will let you know as soon as I know.   There will be more of the beautiful rice papers, which I know a great many of you love, such pretty designs, some beautiful Art stamps and of course some Sparkle Mediums along with lots of other crafty goodies.  As usual, I have really enjoyed working with these products.   So, on to tonight's 'Sneaky Peek' lol!!

Fold the ready creased white card down the centre crease line, making a 7"x7" base card on which to work.

Cut a square 6"x6" of dark brown card and using a Versamark embossing pad, stamp the 'Script' stamp across the centre of the brown card, from the left-hand edge to the right-hand edge.   Then heat emboss with Imagination Craft's  detail  gold embossing powder.

Die-cut each corner of the brown card, using the Nellie Snellen corner die.   Wrap a piece of gold ribbon across the centre of the brown card, securing on the back.   Matt this onto the white base card.

Take some white card and stamp the ' Hollyhocks'  image using a Versamark embossing pad
and then heat emboss with the detail gold embossing powder.   Trim around the image and matt onto a white die-cut  square, using the Spellbinder's die from the Majestic elements set.   Matt this onto the front of the white base card.

Finally, add a gold ribbon bow.    Well that's all from me tonight, I will be back again very soon with another 'Sneaky Peek.'   Enjoy the rest of your week and thanks for stopping by my blog.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

Trees and Autumn Leaves.

Good evening,

Hope you are all well and enjoying the Easter Holidays.    Apart from one day of beautiful sunshine, we have had rain and wind for the last two days!  where oh where has the sunshine gone lol!   please come back.

Tonight I have a card to share with you that I made in October last tear.   By accident, I found a new way to use my fabulous  Imagination Craft's  Starlight paints.  They can be used to make your own gilding flakes !  although they do not turn out as light and flat as the flakes you can buy, they can still be used to cover die cuts as I have done on this card, you do need a little patience to get the look just right but it does look quite good I think, what do you think?  please feel free to leave me a comment. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Using a 7"x7" cream base card,  wrap some cream organza ribbon across the bottom of a piece of brown paper, securing on the back and  matt  this onto the base card, leaving a half inch border of the cream card showing.

Colour a piece of cream card using the white gold and orange oxidation Starlight paints and when dry, punch each corner using the Martha Stewart corner punch.   Glue this to the top half of the brown paper.

Die-cut a large brown oval and glue to the painted card.   Die-cut a smaller oval with slits in it, using the Nellie Snellen oval die set, from cream card.   Paint some of the  Starlight paints onto your non stick work matt and leave to dry.   When dry, scrape up small pieces of the paint, using the edge of your metal spatula, (in a similar way you would when making chocolate curls to decorate your chocolate cake lol !!)    making your own gilding flakes.

Take some black card and cover with gilding glue, then press your flakes onto it smoothing them out, then brush away the excess and leave to dry for a while.   From this card, punch out enough leaves to fit into all the slits on the cream oval.   Glue them in position on the reverse of the oval, then glue this oval onto the brown oval.

Die-cut a smaller oval from cream card and using a brown ink pad, stamp the trees onto it.   Using a paintbrush and a little water, draw some of the ink from the outline into the main image.   Add some white gold Starlight paint, then, when dry,  glue to a slightly larger brown oval, then glue this to the main oval.

Using Imagination Craft's Autumn Leaves decoupage stamp set, stamp the Autumn leaves twice onto cream card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with copper embossing powder.   Paint the leaves with watered down Starlight paints.    Cut out the large leaves from the images and  3D the them, using silicone glue and glue in position.

Glue the leaves to the base card and add a cream organza ribbon bow below the leaves.   Well that's it folks,  enjoy the rest of the Easter period and I will be back again soon.   Hope you have enjoyed your visit, many thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog, I really do appreciate it.    Happy Easter  to you all.

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                                 Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Alphabet Jumble.

Good evening Peeps,

Hope you are all well and  have had a good day, whatever you have been doing.   I have spent a quiet day, housework this morning and crafting this afternoon, making samples for Imagination Craft's next shows  on the Hochanda TV Channel in April.   I have used Imagination's  fun stencil, 'Alphabet Jumble'  for this card.

Fold the ready creased  scalloped white card in half down the centre line, making an 8"x8"  base card on which to work.

Take the lilac/white patterned paper and colour a little in places with the 'Shaded Lilac' distress ink.   Lay the stencil onto it and blend the 'Victorian Velvet' distress ink through the design.   Move the stencil slightly to one side, then repeat, using the  'Seedless Preserves' distress ink.

When dry, replace the stencil back on the paper and, using a piece of cut n' dry foam, dab some 'Dark Orchid' Starlight paint onto the design, followed by a little 'Diamond' Starlight paint.   Remove the stencil and leave to dry.

Cut this into four triangular pieces and matt onto a piece of blue card.   Next matt this onto a slightly larger piece of purple card and  finally, matt onto the base  card.

Using the Alphabet Cassette punch set,  punch out the letters for the words   'adjective'   and  'precious' and glue them between the triangles, crossing the words, using the letter 'c' where both words cross.

Add a punched heart to the bottom left corner.   Using a purple fine liner pen,  draw lines around each triangle and add dots equally to the lines.

That's all for tonight my friends, thank you so much for visiting my blog, hope you have enjoyed your visit.   Have a wonderful Easter Holiday.   See you again very soon.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                      Happy Crafting, hugs   Jennifer xx.

Love Birds.

Hello there everyone,

Hope you enjoyed your weekend.   The weather seems to be on the turn thank goodness, Spring is in the air and the birds are singing their little hearts out each morning, so nice to hear.

Tonight I have a card to share with you which I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts, in March of 2015.   This card has a Spring like feel to it I think.

Begin by making a base card from yellow card.   Matt a slightly smaller piece of purple card onto the yellow, leaving the right-hand edge with some double-sided sticky tape,   with the release paper still on it.   From yellow card, punch out a heart border using thr Martha Stewart punch.   Fix this to the underside of the purple card, by taking off the release paper and glue this  to  base card.

Using the 'Ivy Trail' patterned panel card, lay the birdcage stencil onto it and spread the  Ruby Gold Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   Matt this onto the base card.   Using the left-over hearts, after punching out the border, glue them to the card front.

Die-cut one medium and one small flower from the Spellbinder's flower die set,  using  yellow card.   Glue these together and fix to the bottom left of the birdcage.   Last of all, add a purple gemstone to the flower centre.

Well, that's all my friends, hope you like it.   I'll be back very soon with another creation to share with you.
Have a good week, stay safe and warm and above all, be happy.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Hi.

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope you're all looking forward to the weekend.   What a super day it has been here today, clear blue skies and beautiful sunshine.   There is definitely some heat in the sun now, sat outside with a cuppa this afternoon.   Tonight's card was made for Sue & Harvey of Imagination Craft's for one of their shows on the Hochanda TV Channel last December.

Working on an 8"x8" white scalloped card,, matt a slightly smaller square of lavender card onto the base card, leaving a border of the white showing.   Next matt a smaller  piece of orange card onto the lavender.

Take a piece of green card  ad lay the  'Steam Alphabet' stencil onto it and spread the three Sparkle Mediums  - Bright copper, Lavender and Periwinkle, over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   When dry, matt this onto the base card.

Take the MDF 'H' &  'I' letters and paint with the  Orange oxidation Starlight paint.   Draw around the letters H & I onto a piece of white card and make the letters slightly larger than the MDF letters.   Glue the MDF letters to the  white card letters.

Add dots of the orange oxidation Starlight paints around each letter.   Add dots of dark orchid Starlight paint to each MDF letter.   Lastly, glue the MDF letters to the card front.

That's it folks, card finished, a very easy,  quick card to make.   Many thanks for stopping by my blog.   See you all again soon and in the meanwhile, have a great weekend, hope the sun shines on you all.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs    Jennifer xx.

A Moment in Time.

Hi there Lovelies,

The card I would like to share with you tonight, was made for Sue & Harvey of Imagination Crafts.  It was shown on their programme on the Hochanda TV Channel last December and uses their 'Create a Scene' stencil, along with their Pimpernel flower stamp set.

Work on an 8"x8"  white scalloped card.   Take a piece of white linen card and lay the solid  sun stencil onto the top right and whilst in position, colour the sky  with the Wild honey, Victorian velvet and the Broken china distress inks.

Remove the sun stencil  and add a touch of colour to the white circle.

Lay the 'Create a scene' stencil onto the coloured card and spread the black stars Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula, masking off the open sun.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Colour the hill with the bundled sage distress ink, using a blending tool.    Stamp 2 large, 1 medium and 5 small flowers from the Pimpernel stamp set, using a black ink pad.   Cut the flowers out and glue to the bottom right and left corners.

Stamp the sentiment across the base of the sun, using a black ink pad.

Matt this card onto a piece of green card and then onto a piece of orange card, leaving a border showing each time.    Then matt onto the base card.

That's it finished my friends, hope you like it.   Enjoy the sunshine and I'll be back again soon.

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                      Happy crafting, Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Snowdrop Time.

Hi there Peeps,

Hope you've all enjoyed your weekend.   I have spent some time tidying my craft room today.   I have decided to do a little at a time lol!   The office end is all neat and tidy but I'm still working on the other end!   I will get there eventually lol!   slowly, slowly, catch e monkey !!!    Thought I'd share a card with you tonight which I made for Sue & Harvey of Imagination Craft's, way back in  October 2009.   As our snowdrops are flowering, I thought this card was appropriate for this time of year.   I used an Imagination stamp for this, I do hope you like it   I have 3D the matts on this to raise them up from the main image.

Fold some light green card in half making a five and a half  inch by five and a half inch square card.   Using a piece of cut n' dry foam, colour the edges of the card with the olive green Stazon ink pad.   Matt a piece of white card onto the base card, making it smaller than the green card, using sticky foam pads to raise it up a little.   Take another piece of white card and stamp the snowdrops with the green Stazon pad and trim it down to approximately one quarter of an inch smaller than the first piece of white card.

Next take a piece of pink card, the metal embossing stencil - morn sun L49504 along with a dry embossing tool and a light box.   Lay the stencil and the card onto the light box and emboss a pattern on each corner   Using the x Cut corners & borders stencil, prick out a pattern for each corner, using a pricking tool.    Lightly rub over the embossed image with the green ink pad and a piece of foam.   Cut out the centre of the embossed image and fix this over the top of the snowdrops, using sticky foam pads and then fix to the

white card.   Add  some silver peel offs around the edges of the card, adding a few single peel offs to the

centres of each embossed flower.   Fix a piece of silver ribbon across the bottom right-hand corner and a bow to the top right corner.

Well that's all tonight, hope you like this little 'blast from the past' lol!    See you all soon.   Have a good week, the weather forecast is quite good .   Take care until next time.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.

'What a Hoot!'

Hello there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope your weekend is going well so far.   We have not had the sunshine that was forecast  for  today but hopefully it may appear tomorrow.   I think it as been a little warmer though, which is nice.

I just thought I would fit in an extra post tonight.   This was made using  a cute little owl stamp from Woodware.

Fold the white ready creased card down the centre crease line, making a 6"x6" base card.   Cut a piece of magenta coloured card, slightly smaller than the base card and punch each corner, using the EK Success corner punch.   Cut a piece of patterned paper, smaller than the magenta card and stamp the owl image onto it, using a black ink pad.

Fix this image inside the the 4 punched corners, then wrap a narrow piece of white ribbon across the centre, securing on the back  of the magenta card.   Glue this to the white base card.   Add a white scalloped, die-cut circle to the left of the base card,   Stamp the owl once again but this time, onto some patterned paper and glue the image to the base card.

Stamp,  cut out and 3D  the rest of the owl, using different patterned papers but the same colour tone, using silicone glue.   Stamp the owl eyes onto white card in black ink and glue to the original image.

Stamp some leaves onto some darker patterned paper, cut out and glue to the original image.   Lastly, stamp 'what a hoot' and 'Thank you for sharing your wisdom' onto the card front, using black ink.   Add a white ribbon bow.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, and many thanks if you have left me a comment, much appreciated.

Dreamy Dragonfly.

Hello there,   Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Welcome to my blog, I do hope you enjoy your visit.   The card I have for you tonight was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts for their show on the  Hochanda  TV Channel last December.

Fold the ready creased white scalloped card down the centre crease line, making an 8"x8" base card on which to work.

Cut a smaller square of lilac patterned paper and colour around the edges with the distress inks, using a blending tool.    Matt this onto the base card.

Take a smaller piece of purple card and lay the 'net' stencil onto it and spread the gold shine Sparkle Medium over it, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Die-cut the centre label from purple card and glue  this to the purple/gold card.   Glue this to the base card.

Night Watch.

Good evening all,

Sorry I've not been on here for a few days but been very busy.   Hope you are all well.   Tonight I want to share a card with you I made for  Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts.     For this card I have used the lovely 'Time Flies' stamp set and the 'Time and Motion  ' and 'Clock Face  stencils.

Fold the cream card down the centre crease line, making  a 7"x7" base card.   Matt a piece of black matt card down the right-hand side,  leaving a one and a half inch border of cream showing on the left.

Apologies for the shadows, the light was not good.   Matt a smaller piece of cream card onto the black.   Stamp the cogs from the 'Time Flies' stamp set onto the top and bottom left corners, using a black ink pad.

Take a piece of black shiny card, smaller than the cream and sprinkle some mica powders onto it, then spritz with water.   Leave this to dry.   When dry, lay the cog stencil onto the bottom left and spread the antique pink Sparkle Medium over part of the design, using a metal spatula.

Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   Next lay the clock face stencil onto the right of the card and spread the Jade Sparkle Medium over part of the clock.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Find a stencil with a crescent moon on it and lay the moon on the top left and spread the diamond Sparkle Medium over it, leave to dry.

Colour some white card with mica powder and water, then stamp the large butterfly and 2 small butterflies from the stamp set, onto the card using a black ink pad.   Cut out the butterflies and glue to the left of the panel, using silicone glue.

Stamp 'time flies' in black ink onto cream card, cut out and glue to the bottom left, using silicone glue.

Stamp the pocket watch twice, again using black ink, onto cream card, cut out and glue to the bottom left with silicone glue.

Cut out the outside of the watch only from the second image.   Colour with mica powder and 3D to the base card.

Well that's all from me for now.   Many thanks for stopping by.   Enjoy the rest of your week.

                                                             Love and rainbows,

                                                               Hugs   Jennifer xx.
