Sophisticated Lady.

Hello there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas.   I would just like to send my thoughts  to all  those who are having flooding troubles,  my heart goes out to you all.   Let's hope the new year brings you better times.
I apologise for not blogging of late but I'm back now lol! so let's get going again!     Tonight's card was made for Sue & Harvey of Imagination Crafts, for their  tv show on Hochanda earlier this month.   I have used their Black Stars Sparkle Medium and their gorgeous Beautiful Blossom stencil.

Fold the cream card down the centre crease line, making an 8"x8" base card.   Matt a square of black card onto the base card, leaving a border of the cream base card showing.

Take a slightly smaller piece of cream hammered card and lay the stencil onto it, securing it with some masking tape.   Spread the Black Stars Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Colour around the edges of the stencilled card with the distress inks, using a blending tool.

Add a touch of black soot ink around the outer edges.    Matt this onto the base card.    Die-cut the flowers and paint with the Orange Oxidized Starlight Paint, then glue in position on the base card.

Glue a black gemstone to the centre of each flower and lastly, add a little pink/red distress ink to her cheeks.

Well that's it for now my friends, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a Very Happy New Year when it arrives, lots of good health and much happiness.   I'll be back soon.   In the meantime, take good care of yourselves.

                                                                    Love and rainbows,

                                                                     Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Art Deco Sally.

Hi there Peeps,

Hope you are all fit and well.   One of my favourite  subjects apart from fairies,  is  Art Deco and I just love this image.   Imagination Craft's have some gorgeous Art Deco stencils.   This one is called  'Sally.'

Fold the white scalloped card in half, down the centre crease line, making a 6"x6" base card.   Lay the stencil over the front of the card, securing it in position, using masking tape.   Using the metal spatula to spread the  Claret Sparkle Medium over the design.   Remove the tape and the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Stamp the sentiment to the right of Sally using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.

Stamp the flourish in each corner using the Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.   Add dots of the Antique Gold Starlight Paint to the flourishes.

Die-cut one plain and one open butterfly, using the Memory Box dies from white card.   Paint the plain butterfly with the Cyclamen Starlight Paint.   Paint the open butterfly with the  Antique Gold Starlight Paint.   Glue the open butterfly to the plain and glue to the left of Sally.

That's the card finished.   I do hope you like it.   Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and if you have left me a comment, thank you again, I really appreciate and read each and every one.    See you all again very soon.   Take care and have a great weekend,  enjoy and chill out.

                                                                      Love and rainbows,

                                                                        Hugs   Jennifer xx.
